Terms of service

Last updated: 25 October 2026. These terms are between you (the business using Apptronics) and Mark McCormack, trading as Apptronics (“we”).

The service

Apptronics is online software for small businesses. It covers bookings, orders, stock, loyalty cards, quotes, staff rotas, file storage and AI features. We aim to keep it available and working well, but we can’t promise it will never be interrupted.

Trial, plans and payment

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from Plan & billing → Manage card, invoices or cancel. You keep access until the end of the month you’ve paid for, and we don’t give refunds for part-months. After that your data becomes read-only, so you can still export it. You can delete it whenever you like.

Your responsibilities

AI features

AI drafts can be wrong. This includes quotes, messages, reorder suggestions and assistant answers. Check them before you rely on them or send them to anyone. You are responsible for what you send to your customers.

Data processing

For the personal data you put into Apptronics, you are the controller and we are your processor. We will:

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law does not allow to be limited.

Apart from that, we are not liable for any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss.

Our total liability to you for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us for Apptronics in the 12 months before the claim arose.

You are responsible for keeping your own copies of important information. You can download all your business data at any time from Team & settings.

Ending these terms

We may suspend accounts that break these terms or put other users at risk. Where we reasonably can, we will warn you first.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
